The Roo Racing High Flow Inlet Hose replaces Genuine Subaru air inlet duct 14462AA272 and is built to handle boost, heat, and the tight packaging of the BE/BH twin turbo setup.

Why Replace the Factory Inlet?

The original rubber inlet:

  • Collapses under load
  • Cracks with age
  • Restricts airflow
  • Is no longer available new

On EJ206/EJ208 twin turbo cars, clean airflow matters. Any restriction before the primary turbo affects spool, throttle response, and turbo changeover.

This isn’t a thin silicone sleeve. It’s made properly.

The reinforced construction prevents collapse under vacuum and maintains internal diameter under load. That means more consistent airflow into the twin turbo system.

Install Tips

Trimming the hose may be required during installation.
Specifically where the two hoses join in the middle (The left of the PCV port).
Between 5 and 7cm can be removed here to ensure a snug fitment between turbocharger inlets.
Breather ports and other small hose offshoots can be trimmed if desired.

If you're keeping your BE or BH on the road long term, replacing discontinued intake components is part of the job.

This is the right way to do it.
