Thottle Body Hose Subaru WRX 2008 - 2014 EJ255 | Roo Racing

Like every other induction hose, pipe or connector in your Subarus engine bay, the OEM top mount intercooler coupler to the throttle body is made of plastic that just stand up to the test of time. After a few years of heat cycles and boost pressure the factory hose is bound to spring a leak causing a loss of power, increased fuel consumpation and an annoying hissing sound. 

The solution is simple, you swap that POS out with something better- in this case its 3 ply silicone, reinforced, high strength and able to cop a beating from high pressure and temperature. You'll experience better induction performance and an increase in attractiveness by at least 2%* (*subjectively speaking) or at least your cars will. You might need some Rust Eze and an insane amount of luck (Ka Chow).

This hose gets a few different names depending on where you look, Perrin calls it the Throttle Body Coupler, Pro Speed call it a Short Fat Bit, Subaru call it a Duct Assembly- Air Intake, and when I'm in a good mood I'll probably call it a flip flop hose.
