These stainless steel plates are designed to repair damaged side tab attachment holes for the OEM Golf MK 6 front bumper.?ÿ
This is designed to only cover the bottom section of the side tabs, for the full length refer to V2.
Also fits MK6 Jetta wagon, not sedan.
To install, simply sand down & clean surfaces on the damaged bumper tabs and the repair plates. Then simply glue the plates in place.?ÿApply evenly spread pressure with clamps?ÿwhilst itƒ??s drying.
Please take time to sand down the plastic tabs well so that the repair plates do not increase the thickness of the tabs too much so that it may be too hard to push the side of the bumper in.
It is recommended for maximum strength, that the plates are installed underneath the OEM bumper tabs.
