These Mitsubishi Evo 7-9 Spoiler Reinforcement Plates are designed to help prevent the boot from deforming under downforce, while also improving the efficiency of the spoiler by reinforcing its base. They were designed based on a driver's request after track sessions.
Additionally, these plates provide reinforcement to carbon fibre / fibre glass boots that have spoilers mounted to it, as the edges around the holes can become fragile and prone to flexing. These plates are designed to just sandwich the plates between the boot and OEM bolts, with no modifications necessary.
