If you’re working on an FA20 turbo, you already know the EGR system is a long-term headache.

The Roo Racing EGR Delete Kit is built to remove the factory exhaust gas recirculation system properly — not halfway.

Why Delete the EGR?

From factory, the EGR system routes hot exhaust gases back into the intake to reduce emissions.

Over time it:

• Builds up carbon inside the valve and cooler

• Restricts airflow

• Raises intake temps

• Causes drivability issues

• Triggers fault codes

On modified or higher km cars, the system often creates more problems than it solves.

Deleting it removes a common failure point and simplifies the engine bay.

What Makes Roo Racing Different

A lot of kits cut corners.

Some competitors:

• Include only the lower EGR gasket

• Supply plastic elbow joiners

• Use thick billet plates purely for looks

We built ours to do the full job properly.

• 2mm high-grade stainless steel delete plates

• Upper EGR gasket (often missing in other kits)

• Lower EGR gasket

Why 2mm Stainless Instead of Billet?

Billet aluminium looks flashy.
It’s also unnecessary for this application.

The EGR port doesn’t need a 20mm slab of alloy bolted to it. That’s wasted material and inflated cost.

2mm stainless steel:

• Handles heat properly

• Seals correctly

• Won’t warp

• Keeps cost down without compromising strength
