The Subaru EJ Engine has a coolant passage dead spot located over cylinder 4. This kit improves coolant flow to reduce this dead spot. This kit allows coolant to move through the passage and flow back around the cooling system. This balances the engines cylinder temperatures reducing knock and detonation. Better cooling allows equal fuel and timing map as all cylinders are similar temperature. This kit is dyno tested and proven!
