Bring your early GC8 ignition into the modern age — without cutting, soldering, or guesswork.
This Coil-On-Plug Conversion Loom is designed specifically for early Subaru Impreza WRX GC8 models (1994–1996) running the factory single coil pack and external ignitor. It converts the original ignition system to a modern coil-on-plug (COP) setup using a fully plug-and-play loom, including a dedicated ignitor bridging harness.
Built using the same high-quality materials as our later-model conversion kits, this loom is designed to be reliable, serviceable, and easy to install — even on older platforms.
No wiring modifications. No soldering. No ECU changes.
Just a clean, properly engineered solution that works.
Once installed, you get individual coils per cylinder, more consistent spark delivery, and a simpler ignition system that’s easier to maintain long-term.

Roo Racing tip
For best results, install this kit alongside fresh coil packs and new spark plugs. Upgrading the loom won’t fix tired ignition components.
This conversion isn’t about chasing power figures.
It’s about clean spark, stable ignition, and modern reliability on an early WRX.
