The factory PCV Hose Connector in the Subaru FA & FB engine platforms is made from a cheap plastic. It gets brittle over time from running coolant through it, it cracks and it floods the engine bay with coolant. If you're really unlucky it might even leak into the crankcase.

Watch out for coolant when installing, the system is pressurized and may spray out while disconnecting. Part is located underneath the AC Compressor on top of the engine block (See parts diagram)
