Drain it warmOil out, old plug out, new magnetic plug and genuine washer in. Torque it properly — the washer is a one-use item, which is why there's a fresh one in the box.

Filter, cleaner, additiveGenuine filter on, upper engine cleaner and fuel additive in. Fill with the oil your engine wants and check the level twice.

Write it downDate, kilometres, what went in — then anything else worth keeping. Where you drove it after. What you changed. Stick the photo in while you’re there.

The questions we actually get asked
Does it include oil?
No. Everything else for the service is in the box, but oil is the one thing that depends on your engine, your climate and how hard you drive it, so we leave that choice to you. Ring us if you want a recommendation for your build.
Which pack do I need?
EJ Turbo covers EJ20 and EJ25 engines — Impreza WRX, Forester and Liberty. FA20 Turbo covers the FA20 — WRX and Levorg. If you're running an EZ30, an FB or a BRZ, we don't have a pack for it yet, but we can put the right parts together for you.
Are these genuine Subaru parts?
The filter, drain plug washer, upper engine cleaner and fuel additive are all Genuine Subaru. The magnetic drain plug and the service book are Roo Racing's own.
Can I really paste photos into the service book?
That’s the idea. It’s built as a record of the car, not just the servicing — so alongside the fluid entries there’s room for the drives, the track days, the build milestones and the pictures that go with them.
Can I buy the items separately?
